Why Relationship Counselling?

My motivation for becoming a counsellor was to support couples to create positive, alive, joyful relationships which would not only enhance their own lives, but also provide a secure and loving foundation for any children, and ripple out to others around them. Usually couples come together, but occasionally I work with one party struggling with relationship issues.

My work is not limited to traditional couples; relationship issues can affect every type of relationship including parents and their children, as well as those in non-traditional relationships e.g. polyamorous or other consensual non-monogomous arrangements.

My Approach

My approach is grounded in the ‘person-centred’ (Carl Rogers) modality, on top of which I draw on a breadth of training and experience in other methodologies so my work with clients is completely tailored to their individual needs.

 

With a background in business and consultancy I have a directness and authenticity and will be challenging where necessary, to help you bring about the changes you want in your life.
